French Paris Saint-Germain is trying to attract Egyptian star Mohamed Salah to play for its ranks during the next season after making him a tempting offer, according to press reports.
The famous journalist for the Eurosport and Sky Sports networks, Romain Collet-Godin, wrote on his account on the “X” platform: “Paris Saint-Germain very much wants to sign Mohamed Salah next summer.”
Godin added that Paris Saint-Germain offered “a weekly salary of 500,000 euros for 3 seasons.”
Romain Collet continued through his account that the Parisian offer comes at a time when: “Liverpool is submitting an offer to extend Salah’s contract with a slight reduction in salary, to 400,000 euros per week for only two seasons.”
Salah's contract with Liverpool expires next summer, and he can negotiate and sign now for free with any club.
On Sunday evening, Salah said after the end of the match against West Ham United: “No, we are far from that (renewing the contract with Liverpool) and I do not want to put anything in the media.”
