Real Madrid achieved a huge victory with a score of (5-0) during the match against Deportivo Minera, today, Monday, at the latter’s stadium, in the round of 32 of the Spanish King’s Cup.
For Real Madrid, Fede Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Guler scored two goals, and Luka Modric in minutes (5, 13, 28, 55)
With this victory, Merengue decided to advance to the round of 16 of the tournament.
Italian Carlo Ancelotti relied on a squad with a mixture of reserve and young players while resting the main players in preparation for the Spanish Super Cup.
The match started with an early goal for the Merengues, with a strong shot by Valverde inside the penalty area, which hit goalkeeper Martinez in the 5th minute.
Camavinga added the second goal in the 13th minute, as he received a cross from the left side via Fran Garcia, and the Frenchman rose and headed the ball to the bottom of the goalkeeper's left.
The royal pressure continued, with the third goal, as Guler received a pass from Valverde and went and shot a ball that hit the defense before hitting the goalkeeper's left in the 28th minute.
The first half ended with Real Madrid leading by three without a response.
At the beginning of the second half, Luka Modric succeeded in scoring the fourth goal in the 55th minute, as he exchanged the ball with Brahim Diaz and shot below the goalkeeper's left.
Ancelotti decided to give the starters a chance, as he included Vinicius Junior, Lucas Vazquez and Kylian Mbappe.
The Merengues continued to dominate the match, until Arda Guler scored the fifth goal in the 88th minute, as he received a cross from the left side via Fran Garcia inside the area and easily shot into the net, sealing the Royal victory.
