Sports reports revealed that Al-Wahda Club management filed a complaint with the observer of the team’s match against Al-Nasr to protest the participation of Brazilian Anderson Talisca, the international player, in the match between the two teams, on Saturday evening, in the Roshen League.
Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported that Al-Wehda management’s complaint came about Talisca’s two-match suspension following his expulsion against Al-Ettifaq in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup, and the player actually missed the last confrontation against Al-Khaleej, but participated against Al-Wahda, on Saturday.
The rationale for the decision to suspend the Al-Nasr player stipulated: “It was proven that Talisca violated Article “48-1-2” of the Disciplinary and Ethics Regulations, and he was suspended for two matches, including an automatic suspension based on a direct red card, in all official matches in which he is entitled to participate.”< /p>
There was widespread controversy behind the decision, as reports said that the player would be suspended only in King’s Cup matches, while other reports indicated that the punishment for Talisca would apply to Al-Nasr’s first two official matches after the punishment was taken.
