Fund for young people, youth and sports in the capital, Aden, approves its budget for the year 2025

The Board of Directors of the Fund for the Care of Young, Youth and Sports, in its meeting held today, headed by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Chairman Nayef Saleh Al -Bakri, approved the estimated budget for the current year and plans and perceptions of revenue enhancing and improving financial and administrative performance in the fund.
The meeting reviewed the main budget items, including funding for sports, youth and external participation, in addition to operational and administrative expenditures.
The meeting touched on ways to improve the fund’s revenues, diversify income sources, reassess the revenue collection mechanisms, enhance partnerships with the supporters, and implement investment programs that support the fund’s budget to ensure the sustainability of financial resources and facing the scarcity of capabilities.
The meeting also discussed the mechanisms for financing new projects commensurate with the capabilities of the fund at the present time, in addition to setting strict controls to regulate external posts, in order to ensure the rationalization of spending and the maximum benefit from the available financial resources.
The meeting listened to a report submitted by the Executive Director of the Fund, Adham Saleh Al -Haddi, on the difficulties facing the work of the fund, financial and operational obstacles, in addition to the challenges related to the collection of revenues and securing the necessary financial resources to support sports and youth activities and the proposed solutions to address and overcome them as required.
The Minister of Youth and Sports, Nayef Saleh Al -Bakri, stressed the importance of the role that the Fund plays in supporting the youth and sports sectors, praising his efforts during the last period in supporting sports activities and events in the various liberated governorates, as well as its support for external partnerships, supporting national teams in various games, honoring Al -Mamsarin and implementing the infrastructure projects for sports despite the scarcity of resources and challenges facing the country.
Minister Al -Bakri stressed the need to make more efforts to face financial and administrative challenges and mobilize capabilities to increase resources to enable the fund to play all its roles and achieve its general goals.
