started yesterday, Tuesday, in the city of Al -Ghaydah, Al -Mahra Governorate, the sixth edition of the Championship of the Passius, under the auspices of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the governorate.

The championship started with a match that brought together the Youth Union of Al -Ghaydah and Hilal Al -Sadha, Muhaif, and the match ended in a negative tie despite the attacks through which the two teams tried to score the winning goal.

At the end of the match, the player Ahmed Nayef from the Al -Ghaydah Youth Union team was honored with the award for the best player in the match, and the tournament is one of the most prominent sports events in the Al -Ghaydah district, where it aims to commemorate the deceased Al -Bassi, and to enhance the spirit of sports competition between the participating teams.

The opening was attended by a member of the National Assembly, Secretary General of Khaybal Club, Salem Akoush, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in Al -Ghaydah district, Muhammad Omar bin Al -Sheikh, and the director of the Youth and Sports Department in the executive of my transition, Al -Mahra, Khamis Gharib, and the son of the deceased Imad Mahfouz Al -Bassi.
