Social media pioneers circulated news about the management of Al-Tilal Club of Adani imprisoning Captain Qais Muhammad Saleh, which was denied by sources close to the club who clarified the truth of the matter.
Sports journalist Dhu Al-Nourayn Al-Harbi said on his Facebook page: After communicating with some sources in the Al-Tilal administration and those in charge of our sports in Aden, it became clear that this news is incorrect.
He added: The sources clarify that coach Qais was not imprisoned as some websites and pages claimed, but rather it was a matter of stopping him for interrogation, as an amicable agreement was reached two weeks ago regarding adherence to the terms of his contract as coach of the first team at Al-Tilal Club, or returning the value of the contract advance that he paid. He was paid $3,000.
The sources explained that the administration filed a complaint against the coach due to his failure to adhere to the agreed upon terms and his remaining absent without performing his duty as a coach.
After he was summoned and his statements regarding the complaint were taken, he was released without being imprisoned, as some non-professional websites reported.
