The girls' table championship competitions concluded this morning, as part of the activities of the Fourth Aden Sports Festival, which coincides with our people's celebrations of the national holidays of October and November, under the patronage of Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi, Secretary of the Southern Transitional Council, and organized by the Youth and Sports Department, and will continue during the period November 20 - 4 Next November.
The championship competitions, which were held over two days at the closed Martyr Ali Asaad Muthanna Sports Hall in Sheikh Othman City, ended with the participation of girls representing the governorate’s clubs, and its events were played in an “all with all” system, through the completion of the matches of the sixth and seventh rounds, which were filled with excitement and enthusiasm.< /p>
Noha Adel Al-Haidari from Al-Minaa Club was crowned first place after the end of the championship matches, which witnessed intense competition between the clubs’ girls, while her colleague from Al-Minaa Club, Shahad Anis Muhammad, came in second place, and Al-Nasr Club player Lisa Marawan Muhammad came in third place.
The competitions were moderated by Nabil Zoqari (general referee), and (referees) Abdul-Jabbar Nuwaisar, Abdullah Al-Qa’tbi, Safaa Haider and Hussein Abdel-Razzaq.. The supervising committee consisted of Muhammad Mahdi, Muhammad Abdo Haider, Lotfi Shamakh, and Jaliyah Abdul Hamid.
At the end of the tournament, the top three place holders were honored with cups, medals, and financial prizes from the closing guests, presented by Captain Louay Faisal Sabry, President of the Aden Sports Festival, Mohammed Mahdi, Vice President of the Table Branch in Aden, and members of the festival’s organizing committee, Captains Mushtaq Mohammed Saad and Alaa Saif, and the Secretary-General of the Federation The table, Muhammad Abdo Haider, and a number of sports figures.
