The Riyadh Season announced its agreement with the American club Inter Miami, for the team to participate in the matches of the Riyadh Season Triple Cup Championship, which brings together Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr from Saudi Arabia alongside the American team.
The tournament matches will be held in a league system during the Riyadh Season activities.
The tournament is scheduled to be held in the first week of February 2024 in the capital, Riyadh, in the Kingdom Arena, which was recently inaugurated at the opening ceremony of the fourth edition of the Riyadh season.
This tournament will be attended by all the stars of the participating clubs, led by the Saudi Al-Nasr player, the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, and the American star of Inter Miami, the Argentine Lionel Messi, in a confrontation that will be the talk of the world, under the tag “The Last Dance.”
The tournament will also witness the presence of the stars of Al-Hilal Saudi Club, runner-up in the Club World Cup, led by Serbian star Aleksandar Mitrovic, and the best player in Asia, Salem Al-Dosari.
Counsel Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority, welcomed the arrival of Inter Miami, noting that the tournament will witness global follow-up to the three clubs’ international stars. He also stressed that the tournament comes as an extension of the major global events that the Riyadh Season presents to its visitors and to the world.
For his part, Jorge Mas, President of the American club Inter Miami, confirmed the participation of his team in the Riyadh season, praising the great development witnessed by football in the Kingdom, in addition to the major transformations witnessed by the entertainment sector in Saudi Arabia
