The tournament of loyalty to the deceased Dr. Ali Muhammad Badinar and Captain Adel Saleh Babatat, may God have mercy on them, concluded yesterday in its fourth edition, which was organized by the Defense Sports Team at Shabab Saihut Club, with the sponsorship and support of His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Ali Yasser, Governor of Al-Mahra Governorate.

The championship matches were held yesterday afternoon at the late Dr. Ali Baldinar Stadium in the city of Saihut.

The final brought together the teams of the Al-Ghaydah Youth Union and its brother, Zaeem Al-Aq, from the Hadhramaut coast, amid a large crowd.

Shabab Al-Ghaydah took the lead with the first goal in the first half, thanks to Ali Abdel-Elah, before the sons of Al-Rayda came back with the goal of adjusting in the second half with an own goal from the defender.

The match ends in a positive draw and the two teams go to penalty kicks, which the leader of Al-Aqiq decides in his favor, and he wins his second title in the tournament after winning the tournament in its first edition in 2017.

The tournament is held every year with the support of the local authority in the governorate, represented by the Governor, Mr. Muhammad Ali Yasser, as part of his interest and care for youth and revitalizing the sports movement in the governorate in various sports.

The individual prizes in the tournament were as follows:

Best Player Award: Naif Baisa (Al-Ghaydah Union).

Best Goalkeeper Award: Ahmed Al Roumi from (Zaeem Al Aq) team.

The tournament’s top scorer, Osama Khwaidem (Ittihad Al-Ghaydah), is awarded with a shield and 100,000 riyals.
