In the presence of a member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Moamen Al-Saqqaf, the head of the Youth and Sports Department, Mr. Al-Kuraihi Kanaan, and the Director of the Youth and Sports Office, Aden, Mr. Wijdan Al-Shazly Al-Shuala was a champion at the end of the club handball tournament, with his victory against Mansoura (28/19) in The final match, which took place this morning at the Martyr Ali Asaad Muthanna Sports Hall, as part of the activities of the Aden Sports Festival “4”, which is held under the slogan “Aden, City of Sports and Peace”, sponsored by Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi, Secretary-General of the Southern Transitional Council, and organized by the Department of Youth and Sports and under the supervision Branch of the Handball Federation in Aden.

The course of the final match of the tournament, which was held with the participation of the “Al-Shoula, Al-Jazira, Al-Jalaa, Al-Mansoura, Al-Rawda and Al-Nasr” clubs, witnessed the presence of a member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Moamen Hassan Al-Saqqaf, the Director of the Youth and Sports Office, Wijdan Al-Shazly, and the Head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Southern Transitional Council, Kanaan.

The handball team of Al-Shouala Club proved its right to be crowned after the team’s players played a wonderful match during the two halves of the match and were able to defeat the rival, Mansoura, as the first half of the match ended with Shaalawi (14-5), so the yellow team returned in the second half to continue the glow and raise the scoring yield. At the end of the match (19-28), Al-Shoula will be crowned champions of the tournament, well deserved.

The match was led by the referees Faisal and Ayman Othman (court)... It was managed from the table by Ihab Muhammad (scoring) and Abdel Baset Haidara (record), and Sami Omar monitored it.

At the end of the tournament, the Al-Shoula team was honored with the Champion Cup, and the Mansoura team was honored with the second-place cup, by the guests of the match and members of the organizing committee of the fourth edition of the Aden Sports Festival.

It remains to point out that the handball tournament is held within the Aden Sports Festival for sports games, which coincides with our people’s celebrations of the national holidays of October and November, and is co-organized by the branches of the sports federations in the capital, Aden, and takes place during the period between November 20 - December 4 next.
