The clubs of the capital, Aden, agreed today, Sunday, to invite the General Football Federation to meet with club presidents, in order to search for solutions that guarantee the rights of Aden football.
This came in a statement issued by the Aden clubs, following their extraordinary meeting held today, Sunday, in the Youth and Sports Office.
The statement confirmed that the Adenian clubs responded to all initiatives to resolve the current crisis with the management of the General Football Association.
The clubs also announced their agreement for the meeting to be held in the capital, Aden, as it officially represents the face of the country and where all official and central authorities and international missions carry out their activities in security, safety and stability.
The clubs called for the necessity of the presence of the leadership of the Ministry of Youth and Sports as the umbrella carrying sports in the country, through the presence of its Minister, A. Nayef Al-Bakri, provided that the solutions and outcomes are binding on all parties concerned in order to restore confidence between all parties and continue sports activity as it should.
The clubs confirmed that they are with all solutions and remedies that will preserve the right of their clubs to return and participate under the management of the General Football Association, without errors or violations that harm the interests and rights of the clubs, and in a way that guarantees the interest of football in the country.
This development comes within the framework of efforts to resolve the crisis that broke out between the Aden clubs and the General Football Association several months ago.
