Freestyle swimming championship competitions were held this morning at the Royal Medal Pool (Fun Land) in Sira District, as part of the activities of the Fourth Aden Sports Festival, which is held under the patronage of Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi, Secretary General of the Southern Transitional Council and organized by the Department of Youth and Sports in the Southern Transitional Council, and under the supervision of Aden branch of the Swimming and Water Sports Federation.
In a wonderful atmosphere and in the presence of the member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Moamen Al-Saqqaf, the competition competitions began with the participation of more than 40 swimmers from various districts of the capital, Aden, who competed in the 20-meter freestyle swimming pool in the Al-Wisam swimming pool, amid strong competition from the race participants.
p>Swimmer Youssef Marwan Abdullah covered the race distance in a time of 26.13 seconds, while swimmer Abdullah Ali Abdullah came in second with a time of 28.75 seconds, and Suleiman Yahya Muhammad came in third place by covering the distance in a time of 30.97 seconds, and swimmer Ibrahim Najeeb Muhammad came in fourth place with a time Its value is 31.47.
At the conclusion of the competitions, the first four winners were honored with cups and medals: Youssef Marwan Abdullah first place, Abdullah Ali Abdullah second place, Suleiman Yahya Muhammad third place, and Ibrahim Najib Muhammad fourth place.
The event was attended by Al-Kraihi Kanaan, Head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Southern Transitional Council, Khaled Mohsen Al-Khulaifi, the General Swimming Federation, Nasr Souqi, Acting Head of the branch in Aden, members of the festival’s organizing committee, and a number of guests.
