Al Hilal Saudi Arabia concluded its campaign in the group stage of the AFC Champions League with a victory over Nassaji of Iran.
Al Hilal defeated its guest Nasaji by two goals to one, on Monday evening, in the sixth and final round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League.
Al Hilal had already secured its qualification before the match to the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League.
Michel Delgado scored the first goal in the fourth minute of the match hosted by Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium.
Salem Al-Dosari added a second goal in the 54th minute.
Mahmoud Qaed Rahmati scored the visitors’ only goal in the 77th minute.
The match witnessed Al Hilal goalkeeper Yassine Bounou being replaced by his teammate Habib Al-Wattian at the beginning of the second half, raising doubts about his injury.
With this victory, Al Hilal raised its score to 16 points at the top of the fourth group standings, from 5 wins and a draw.
On the other hand, Nasaji’s score stopped at 7 points in third place.
