The Yemeni junior national team qualified for the final of the tenth edition of the West Asian Football Federation Championship, after winning with two clean goals over its Emirati counterpart in the match that took place this evening, at Al-Saada Stadium in the city of Salalah.
Adel Qasim opened the scoring in the 53rd minute, then increased the score with a second goal for our team in the 87th minute.
The Yemeni team imposed its control over the course of the two halves of the match, wasting many opportunities, but did not translate them into goals.
The team had snatched the semi-final ticket from the first group, with 9 points and a full score from three victories.
In the final match, the team awaits the winner of the Iraq-Saudi Arabia match later this evening.
