The Department of Youth and Sports in the Southern Transitional Council concluded today, Tuesday, 12/26/2023, its work and projects for the year 2023 with a joyful artistic and honorary ceremony.

At the ceremony, which was attended by a member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council - head of the local leadership of the Aden Transitional Council, Mr. Moamen Al-Saqqaf, head of the Youth Authority, Eng. Nizar Haitham, head of the Relief Authority, A. Niran Souqi, Vice President of the National Media Authority, A. Mr. Moamen Al-Saqqaf delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings of President Commander Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council and Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council, praising the role played by the Youth and Sports Department during the last period in advancing the youth, sports and student sectors in all governorates of the South.

In his speech, Al-Saqqaf explained the conspiracies against southern sports in general and Aden in particular, and the concessions made by the Department of Youth and Sports in order to preserve Adenian sports. The ceremony included a number of artistic and singing performances by a number of talented stars, and the department reviewed its work and activities during the year 2023, which numbered 328 activities, events and projects, organized by the department in various sports, youth and student sectors and included all the governorates of the south.

The department honored its former heads, A. Moamen Al-Saqqaf and M. Nizar, and the success partners who supported and contributed greatly to the success of its activities, events and projects, and the entities that were the best support for the department, headed by the General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and its office in the capital, Aden, and the committee.
