Al-Hilal team continued its historic record in the Saudi Professional League, after achieving a fatal victory against Al-Fayhaa, with two unanswered goals, on Friday evening.
Al-Hilal honored the hospitality of Al-Fayhaa, with two free goals during the match that was held at Prince Faisal bin Fahd “Al-Malaz” Stadium, in the 19th round of the Roshan Professional League.
Al-Hilal raised its score to 53 points, expanding the difference with runner-up Al-Nasr to 10 points, before facing “Al-Alami” against Al-Taawoun, on Saturday evening, within the same round’s competitions.

The match witnessed complete control by Al Hilal in terms of possession and opportunity creation, amid great defensive heroism from Al Fayhaa.
After a series of attempts and possessions, Ali Al-Bulaihi was able to decipher Al-Fayhaa’s defences, with a fatal goal in the 86th minute of the second half.
Serbian Aleksandar Mitrovic scored the second goal for Al Hilal in the 11th minute of stoppage time through a penalty kick.
Mitrovic raised his score to 17 goals and is ranked second in the Roshen League top scorers' standings, behind Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nasr, with a difference of two fewer goals.
With this result, Al Hilal continued its historic series in the professional league by achieving its 12th consecutive victory for the first time in the history of its participation in the competition.
The Portuguese Jorge Jesus also increased his score with Al Hilal to 20 consecutive victories in all competitions, and he is the first coach to achieve this achievement in the history of Saudi clubs.
