The Yemeni junior national team arrived in the capital, Aden, today, Saturday, after winning the West Asian Championship Cup in its tenth edition, which was held in the Sultanate of Oman.

The team was received by large crowds of citizens, local authority officials, youth and sports people in the Southern Transitional Council.

The players raised the cup in front of the gathered fans, amid cheers and applause from the fans who expressed their joy at this great achievement.

The local authority, youth and sports officials praised the team, stressing the importance of this achievement, which reflects the capabilities of Yemeni youth in various fields.

The Yemeni junior team performed wonderfully in the tournament, winning all its matches, scoring 22 goals and conceding only one goal.
