Major General Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, Deputy Chairman of the Leadership Council and President of the Southern Transitional Council, received this afternoon, Saturday, at the headquarters of the Transitional Council in the capital, Aden, the delegation of the national junior team that won the tenth West Asian Championship, whose competitions were hosted in the Omani city of Salalah.

At the reception, which was attended by members of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Kamal Hamshari, Director of the Office of the President of the Council, Moamen Al-Saqqaf, Chief Executive Officer of the Transitional Council of the capital, Aden, and Head of the Political Commission, Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, President Al-Zubaidi congratulated the team’s mission for the great achievement that had been achieved, praising the efforts All those who contributed to the team reaching the podium, without exception.

Al-Zubaidi addressed the team’s delegation, saying: “What you have achieved is important in the festive atmosphere, the overwhelming state of joy witnessed in all governorates, and the happiness that appeared on the faces of everyone inside and outside the country. You were the best representative of your country and your family in this external forum.”

Al-Zubaidi called on the national team players to continue giving sports, and to stay away from everything that harms their talent, whether on a physical or moral level, to achieve more positive results in the upcoming football tournaments.

In the context of his speech, Al-Zubaidi affirmed his full support for the junior national team mission, and for all the nation’s youth and athletes of all walks of life, far from any political affiliations, because sport carries noble values ​​and messages that go beyond the concept of profit and loss.

At the end of his speech, Al-Zubaidi directed that all members of the delegation be honored in a way befitting the football achievement they achieved at the regional level, and to motivate them to achieve greater results in the upcoming football competitions at the continental level.
