In an exciting match, the Hadhramaut Shaab team was able to defeat the Ibb Shaab team with a score of 2-1, at the conclusion of the group stage competitions in the first division football league.
The people of Hadramaut qualified for the quarter-finals, while the people of Ibb were relegated to the second division.
Shaab Hadhramaut’s goals were scored by player Hassan Basfar in the 24th and 73rd minutes, while Shaab Ibb’s only goal was scored by player Ayman Al-Ra’wi in the 55th minute.
This victory raised the score of the Hadhramaut people to 18 points, and made them occupy second place in the second group, thus qualifying for the semi-finals, where they will face the Ahly Sanaa team, the leader of the first group, in the semi-finals.
As for Shaab Ibb, their score stopped at 8 points, and they occupied last place in the group, thus officially being relegated to the second division league.
The match was managed by referee Amin Radman, and Mustafa Abdel-Ghani and Ali Mahmoud assisted him. Ibrahim Al-Hassani was the fourth referee, and Ahmed Al-Sharafi monitored it administratively, Abdullah Salem technically, and Adel Hashem from the branch.
