The Supreme Competitions Committee of the Yemeni Football Federation announced today the permanent removal of Hilal Al-Hudaydah team player Walid Muhammad Aswad from the federation’s records, according to Article (55) Paragraph (A) of the Competitions Regulations.

The federation said that the decision came in support of the decision of the supervisory committee for the first group gathering in the city of Sayun, and according to the report of the match referee and the administrative observer, it was proven that the player violated the regulations governing the competitions and committed a serious mistake by assaulting one of the refereeing crew in the match between Al-Ahly Sanaa and Hilal Al-Hudaydah in the last round of the gathering, which is what happened. He requires appropriate punishment.
