In a match that witnessed the presence of Moamen Al-Saqqaf, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council and President of the Transitional Council of the capital, Aden, the Al-Shoula team won the 18th Anniversary Cup for Southern Reconciliation and Tolerance on January 13, which was held under the slogan (The South is for all and for all its children) and sponsored by the Transitional Council of the capital, Aden.
Al-Shoula’s victory in the Friendly Cup came after its exciting victory over Al-Jazira, with a score of four goals to three, in the match that brought together the two teams this afternoon, Saturday, at Bahabib Stadium, located in Al-Buraiqa District, in the last match of the thirteenth round of the Aden Premier League.
With this victory, Al-Shoula raised its score to 21 points in the Aden Premier League, while Al-Jazira team’s score froze at the seventh point at the bottom of the standings.
After the end of the match, the tournament organizing committee chose Al-Shoula team player (Hamid Waheed) as the best player in the match, and he received his well-deserved award from Mr. Jamal Musa, interim head of Al-Buraiqa District.
At the end of the match, Mr. Moamen Al-Saqqaf handed the Cup of the 18th Anniversary of Southern Reconciliation and Tolerance to the captain of the Al-Shoua team, Ahmed Fadil.
The meeting was attended by Wijdan Shazli, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the capital, Aden, Abdul-Jabbar Salam, President of the Football Association in Aden, and a number of transitional heads of the directorates of the capital, Aden, and sports and social figures in the Buraiqa District.
