Belgian Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City star, saved his team from losing to Newcastle in one of the most prominent matches of the current round of the English Premier League.
The match brought together the two teams, on Saturday evening, at St. James Park, in the 21st round of the English Premier League.
Manchester City snatched a 3-2 win against Newcastle, thanks to its star, Kevin De Bruyne, returning from injury.
The match was exciting, as Portuguese Bernardo Silva took the lead for City, in the 26th minute.
But Newcastle turned the tables in two minutes, scoring two goals by the Swede Alexander Isak and the Englishman Anthony Gordon in the 35th and 37th minutes.
City tried to equalize the score, but failed, until substitute De Bruyne came on midway through the second half.
The situation turned completely around, and City scored the equalizer through De Bruyne with a smart shot in the 74th minute.
At the fatal time, De Bruyne scored the winning goal for the young Englishman, Oscar Pope.
Thanks to De Bruyne, Newcastle became the first team against whom Manchester City scored 100 or more goals during the Premier League era that began in 1992, with 101 goals.
