Real Madrid defeated its host Las Palmas, 2-1, today, Saturday, in the 22nd round of La Liga, at the Estadio de Gran Canaria.

Vinicius Junior and Choaméni scored for the Merengues in the 65th and 84th minutes, while Javier Muñoz scored for Las Palmas in the 53rd minute.

Real Madrid's score rose to 54 points at the top of La Liga, while Las Palmas' score stagnated at 31 points in eighth place.

The match began with offensive pressure from the hosts, and Las Palmas player Mika Marmol headed a ball inside the area, but it passed over the Real Madrid goal in the third minute.
