The Jordanian national team continued to write history and qualified for the Asian Cup final for the first time in its history, at the expense of South Korea.
The match brought together the two teams, on Tuesday evening, at the Ahmed Bin Ali World Cup Stadium, in the semi-finals of the 2023 Asian Cup held in Qatar.

This is the first time that the Jordanian national team has qualified for the final, and it is one step away from repeating Iraq’s achievement in 2007.

The only time Iraq qualified for the final, it was able to achieve the title in 2007 by defeating Saudi Arabia in the final 1-0.
The Jordanian national team was the better team in the match, as it missed several chances in the first half.
The Jordanian national team succeeded in converting these opportunities into goals in the second half, scoring a brace from Yazan Al-Naimat and Musa Al-Taamari in the 53rd and 66th minutes.
