Blue card.. FIFA approves the application of the blue card for temporary expulsion.

Several press reports indicated, on Thursday, that the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) is preparing to begin experiments with the use of the Blue Card.
According to the British newspaper "The Telegraph", the International Football Association Board - the body that determines the laws of the game - has given the green light to begin experiments with the use of the blue card.
The newspaper explained that this card aims to exclude the player for 10 minutes from the match.
She added that this card will be used for fouls that prevent promising attacks, in addition to protests against arbitration decisions.
It indicated that the player will receive a red card if he receives two blue cards.
The player will also be expelled if he receives a yellow and a blue card in one match as well.
She added that these experiments may begin to be applied in the FA Cup by next summer.
She concluded that the decision of the International Federation Council faces opposition from Aleksander Ceferin, President of the European Football Association.
