Al-Tilal is the only runner-up in the Aden Premier League with its victory over Al-Rawda

Al-Tilal team defeated Al-Rawda with a score of 2-1 in the match that was held on Friday evening at Al-Shahid Al-Hubaishi Stadium in Crater. This match comes within the seventeenth round of the Aden Premier League, which is organized by the Football Association under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of State, Governor of the Capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, and the Youth and Sports Department of the Southern Transitional Council, and with the support of Al-Busiri Microfinance Bank.
With this victory, Al-Tilal team ranks second in the Aden Premier League with 34 points, while Al-Rawda is in third place with 31 points.
In the first half of the match, Al-Tilal team opened the scoring in the 29th minute through player Abu Bakr Salem, then player Faisal Abdullah added the second goal for the team before the end of the first half.
In the second half, Al-Rawda team put pressure on Al-Tilal’s defenses and was able to reduce the difference with a penalty kick scored by player Anwar Hussein Farhan, but did not benefit from the expulsion of Al-Tilal player Saeed Al-Awlaki to equalize, so the match ended with Al-Tilal winning by two goals to one.
The match was refereed by Abdel-Rahman Mohammed as a field referee, and Sameh Ismail and Bahaa Ahmed assisted him. Abdel-Rahman Al-Damini was the fourth referee, and Captain Fathi Abdel-Hafeez monitored the match, and the former international referee Khalaf Al-Lubni was evaluator of the referees.
After the end of the match, Al-Tilal player Adel Abbas received the award for best player in the match, which was presented to him by Captain Ahmed Ali Bin Ali, a star from the good old days, and presented by Al-Bassiri Microfinance Company.
The seventeenth round competitions will conclude tomorrow, Saturday, with a match between Al-Nasr and Shamsan teams at Nasr Dar Saad Stadium.
