In the presence of Qayed Noman, Assistant Undersecretary for the Sports Sector in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Muhammad Ahmed Haidan, Financial Officer of the Yemeni Football Association and brother of the deceased Yasser Laasam, the Loyalty League for the deceased Adel Laasam and Captain Salem Laasam for the popular teams in Khor District was inaugurated this afternoon. The tournament was launched with a match between Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Kafan teams, and the two halves of the match ended with a 1-1 draw for the two teams, and Al-Kafan team decided the result by winning on penalties over Al-Qadisiyah team with three goals to one for Al-Qadisiyah team.

In a statement to the media, Yasser Laasm explained that the goal of the tournament, which is sponsored by CAC Bank and with the support of the Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of CAC Bank and CEO, Mr. Hashid Al-Hamdani, is to pay tribute to those who contributed to serving sports in Aden, and those who had trips and tours, whether in the fields.

The tournament also aims to revive and revitalize sports in the popular teams in Khor Maksar District, in addition to highlighting, supporting and developing sports and youth talents in the game of football, 

He concluded his speech by thanking the official sponsor of the tournament, represented by Mr. Hashid Al-Hamdani, CEO of CAC Bank, in which about (28) popular teams in Khor Maksar District will participate.
