The Minister of Youth and Sports, Nayef Saleh Al-Bakri, met today, Sunday, with the management of Al-Tilal Club in Aden, and discussed with it a number of concerns and problems that it suffers from and ways to address them.
During the meeting held at the Ministry’s General Office in the temporary capital, Aden, and in the presence of the Ministry’s Advisor, Abdul Hamid Al-Saidi, and the Undersecretary of the Projects Sector, Mohsen Ali Bebek, His Excellency Minister Al-Bakri affirmed, “his support and interest in the ancient Al-Tilal Club (the oldest club in the Jazira and the Gulf) and to stand by its side so that it may assume the position The status he had, and enabling his youth to practice their various sports.”
He explained that, in cooperation with the local authority in the governorate, he will work hard to address the many issues and concerns that the club suffers from, the most important of which are the club’s facilities and infrastructure, which were destroyed and ruined during the Houthi militia’s control over parts of the capital, Aden.
p>He praised the efforts made by the club’s management, despite the difficulties and problems it suffers from, which prevented it from achieving the victories that Al-Tilal was accustomed to achieving during the past years, which made it one of the most important and largest clubs in the Republic.”
For his part, the Undersecretary of the Projects Sector, Mohsen Bebek, reviewed, “The most important work carried out by the sector during the past period related to developing studies for a number of infrastructure projects for the club,” noting that there are many efforts and endeavors made by the Ministry, led by Minister Nayef Al-Bakri, in this direction, in coordination with The Office of the Presidency of the Republic, for the purpose of financing these projects and working to implement them.”
In the same context, Secretary General of Al-Tilal Club, Adel Saeed, thanked the support and interest of the Ministry’s leadership, represented by Minister Al-Bakri and the rest of the sectors, in Al-Tilal Club and their efforts to solve the problems and obstacles that it suffers from, especially those related to infrastructure projects, which in one way or another prevented much practice. One of the games in which the club has excelled for many years.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Minister’s Office, Haneen Jamal, the Director General of the General Administration of Information, Shukri Hussein, and on the Al-Tilal side, the club’s financial official, Abdul Karim Abdullah, the investment official, Jamal Bahrmuz, and the women’s activity official, Mervat Hamid Yassin.
