Press reports said that Trent Alexander-Arnold, Liverpool's full-back, shocked the Reds before the League Cup final.
Liverpool will meet Chelsea on February 25 in the English Football League Cup final, at Wembley Stadium in the capital, London.
The British newspaper The Times reported in a report that Trent will miss Liverpool in the coming period after his knee injury worsened.
Trent came off after 46 minutes in the Liverpool-Burnley match last Saturday, which the Reds won 3-1.
Trent will miss the League Cup final against Chelsea, and before that, he will not be present in the matches between Brentford and Luton Town on February 17 and 21 in the English Premier League.
The crisis with Trent began last January during the Bournemouth match, when he suffered an injury to the lateral ligament of the knee.
After that, Arnold played only 22 minutes in a 4-1 win over Chelsea and 58 minutes in a 1-3 loss to Arsenal in the local league.
It is noteworthy that the English player participated in 29 matches with Chelsea in all tournaments this season, in which he scored two goals and assisted 10 others
