French star Kylian Mbappe, the Paris Saint-Germain striker, achieved two distinguished numbers during his team’s match against its Spanish guest Real Sociedad (2-0) on Wednesday evening, in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League.

Mbappe scored the first goal for his team in the 58th minute of the match, which took place at the Parc des Princes stadium.

The French striker raised his tally to 4 goals in the current Champions League season, the 44th in his career so far in the tournament, which he scored during 68 matches with Saint-Germain and his former team Monaco.

The “Squaka” statistics network reported that Mbappe is equal to the duo, Mohamed Salah, the English star of Liverpool, and the retired Ivorian, Didier Drogba, with 44 goals each in the Champions League.
