Sky Sports revealed, on Tuesday, the details of the new contract of French star Kylian Mbappe with Spanish Real Madrid, confirming that he agreed to reduce his annual income in order to move to the Royal Club.
The website announced that the official announcement of the deal will be made when it is confirmed that Real Madrid will not meet Mbappe’s current team, Paris Saint-Germain, in the Champions League this season, that is, if one of them is eliminated from the tournament.
Contract details
The "Sky Sports" and "BBC" websites indicated that Mbappe will receive 15 million euros annually, in the contract that will extend for 5 years.
Sources also indicated that Mbappe will receive an additional 150 million euros, the signing bonus, divided over 5 years.
Sky Sports confirmed that Mbappe's current income with Paris Saint-Germain amounts to 200 million euros, which he will give up in exchange for 45 million euros annually with the Royal Club.
This means that Mbappe will reduce his salary by 155 million euros, to sign with Spanish Real Madrid.
