Milan qualifies for the Europa League round of 16 despite losing to Rennes

Milan clinched a place in the round of 16 in the European Football League despite losing 3-2 to Stade Rennes, where Benjamin Borrego's hat-trick was not enough for the Italian team to win 5-3 on aggregate, today, Thursday.
The host French team faced a difficult task after losing 3-0 in the first leg, but they started the match with offensive ferocity in light of the rain.
Borrego scored an early goal that gave Rennes a glimmer of hope in the 11th minute, but Luka Jovic equalized with a powerful header.
Borrego put his team back in front with a penalty kick nine minutes into the second half, but Rafael Leao equalized in the 58th minute.
Rennes received a second penalty kick in the 68th minute after Jovic handled the ball inside the area, completing Borrego's hat-trick.
