The matches of the First Division Handball Club League continued on its second day, and its competitions are hosted by the closed Martyr Ali Asaad Muthanna Sports Hall in the capital, Aden, during the period between February 21 and 29. The first match, which was held for the benefit of the second group, the Al-Ittihad Ibb team compensated for its loss in the first round by winning the second match against the Al-Wahdat Al-Mukalla team in a match that witnessed strong competition between the two teams, which ended in the end in favor of Al-Ittihad (20/25), and for the account of the same group, no youth team was found. The defending champion, Al-Shouala Aden team, achieved a second victory in its journey in the tournament against the Al-Sharara Lahj team (29/17), in a match that witnessed the advantage and control of the Yellow Shaalawiyah team over the events, which culminated in a well-deserved victory, and Wahda Tarim recorded a broad victory over its rival, Shabab Rakhma, with a score of ( 34/19), to gain points for his first victory after losing in his first appearance in the first round to Tadamon Hadhramaut, who in turn gained points for his match, which was scheduled to be held against Hassan’s team in the framework of the first group, as a result of Hassan Abyan’s team failing to show up, to win Al-Shoula has three points and 10 goals, according to the regulations of the Competitions Committee of the General Handball Federation.
The tournament matches will continue tomorrow morning, Saturday, with six matches in the third round, as Al-Shoula clashes head-to-head against Tadamon Hadhramaut in the first match, while in the second match they meet Wahdat Tarim and Al-Sharara Lahj, while the third match will bring together Al-Saqr Taiz and Shabab Al-Qattan. In a fiery confrontation for the second group.
