The Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, congratulated the management, players and fans of the Al-Qatton Youth Club on the occasion of the club’s handball team winning the first division handball championship title for the season (2024), following its well-deserved victory today over its rival Al-Saqr team in Taiz with a score of (22/ 31), in the final match that took place in the sports hall in Aden.

Shabab Al-Qatton defeated its rival Al-Saqr at the conclusion of the tournament held by the Handball Federation during the period 21-29 February. The match witnessed a clear advantage for Green Valley, the brilliance of its stars, the team’s victory, its rise to the podium, and the well-deserved achievement of the first championship in the club’s history.

The governor praised the level of the team and the interest of the club management and the support of its fans, stressing the pride of the local authority and the people of the governorate in the successive achievements of the governorate’s youth and athletes in various fields in light of the local authority’s interest and care for the youth and sports sector in the governorate.
