The draw for the 28th edition of the Cup of the late southern football legend Ali Mohsen Al-Marisi will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at the headquarters of the Youth and Sports Office in the capital, Aden.

The tournament will be held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, and the Department of Youth and Sports in the Southern Transitional Council, and organized by the Football Association, the branch of the capital, Aden, and under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office, Aden, and the Department of Youth and Sports in the Transitional Council, the capital, Aden.

26 clubs from various southern governorates are participating in the tournament: : 

1) Aden clubs: (Al-Tilal, Al-Shuala, Aden Unit, Shamsan, Ahly Aden, Al-Nasr, Al-Rawda, Al-Mina, Al-Jalaa, Al-Jazira).

2) Hadramaut clubs: (Al-Shuala, Al-Mukalla) 

3) Shabwa clubs (Al-Tadamon, Shabab Markha) 

4) Abyan clubs (Hassan, Irfan, Al-Fajr Al-Jadeed, Shabab Al-Mahfed).

5) Lahj clubs: (Al-Salam, Al-Tali’a, Al-Husseini, Thamar Yafa’).

6) Al-Dhalea Clubs: (Nasr Al-Dhalea, Shabab Zabid).

7) Al-Mahra Clubs: (Qashn, Shabab Al-Ghaydah).

The tournament will be played at the Martyr Al-Hubaishi Stadium in the capital, Aden, during the days of the holy month of Ramadan, and in a single-match knockout system.

Al-Shoula Club won the title of the last edition for the fourth time in its history, after defeating Al-Wahda Aden on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the match that was held at the Martyr Al-Hubaishi Stadium.
