Fajr Al-Qalaa snatched the qualification ticket to the semi-finals, after its rival, Ittihad Al-Arish, won on penalties, in the match that was held this afternoon as part of the first round competitions within the Ramadan Football Hockey League for popular teams, which is held under the patronage of the Minister of State, Governor of Aden Governorate. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas and the transitional executive director of the capital, Aden, Moamen Al-Saqqaf, under the supervision of the local authority in the Sira District, and the organization of the Sports Committee in the District.

The Fajr Al-Qaloua team ensured its presence alongside the teams that qualified for the second round of the competitions by winning on penalties after the end of the two halves of the match and the original endowments in a positive draw with two goals in each net, in a competitive and enthusiastic match in which there was fun, excitement and suspense and witnessed the scoring of four goals shared equally by the two teams. It was scored, as the two goals of Fajr Al-Qalaa were scored by players Osama Abdel Latif and Ahmed Al-Arji, while the goals of Ittihad Al-Arish were scored by Khaled Murqab (penalty kick) and Adam Majed.

After the referee blew the whistle at the end of the original time of the match, the two teams went to the penalty spot to separate the confused qualification ticket between the two parties, whose identity was not determined in the original minutes, so that it went in the end to the Fajr Al-Qaloua team, which felt it in its favor, to ensure its qualification to the second round well deserved.

Fajr Al-Qaloua team goalkeeper Ahmed Abdel Khaleq received the award for best player in the match and received his award from Al-Jalaa club coach Salah El-Din Abu Al-Leem.

The first round matches of the tournament will continue tomorrow afternoon, Friday, with a match between the teams of the late Zahran and Al-Aidrousi.

It should be noted that the Ramadan Hockey League competitions, which are held on the dirt floor of the hockey field in the Rosemit area, witness the participation of 32 popular teams from various districts of the capital, Aden, playing in a one-time knockout system, whose competitions continue until the end of the blessed month of Ramadan.
