The Cup of the Late Southern Football Legend Ali Mohsen Al-Marisi will return once again in its twenty-eighth edition, with the participation of 26 clubs from various governorates of the South and a single-match knockout system.

The tournament will be played at the Martyr Al-Hubaishi Stadium in the city of Crater, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of State, Governor of the Capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, and the Youth and Sports Department of the Council in the Southern Council, and organized by the Football Association, Aden Branch, and under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Administration of the Transitional Council of the Capital, Aden, and the Youth and Sports Office, Aden.

Al-Shoula Club won the Al-Murisi Cup last season, achieving the fourth title in its history, as the third club to win the title after Al-Tilal, the historical champion of the competition with 10 titles, and the runner-up, Al-Wahda Aden, with 7 titles.
