Liverpool achieved a huge victory over its host Sparta Prague, 5-1, in a match between them on Thursday in the first leg of the round of 16 of the European League.
The Liverpool quintet, Alexis McAllister (penalty kick), Darwin Nunez (two goals), Luis Diaz, and Dominik Soboslaj, scored in the 6th, 25th, 45th, 53rd, and 90th minutes, respectively.
The match witnessed the return of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah to participate with Liverpool after being absent from the team for about a month due to injury, as he entered as a substitute in the 74th minute.
Salah's return was almost perfect, as he scored a goal in the 84th minute, but the referee ruled it out for offside after returning to the video assistant referee (VAR) technology.
It appeared from the television replay that Salah was in the right position while receiving the ball before scoring the goal.
