The competitions of the twenty-eighth edition of the late Ali Mohsen Al-Marisi Ramadan Football Championship began this evening, Wednesday, the 3rd of the holy month of Ramadan, with a wonderful opening ceremony held at the Martyr Al-Hubaishi Stadium in Crater in the capital, Aden.
This wonderful ceremony, with its simple and expressive performances, continued for about 15 minutes, before the start of the opening match of the tournament, which will bring together the Al-Tilal team from Aden and the Al-Nasr team from Al-Dhalea Governorate.
The ceremony included the presentation of an exquisite painting and a display of the flags and logos of the teams participating in the tournament, in addition to many artistic performances and carnival shows that expressed the occasion.
Among those in the stadium who attended the opening ceremony of the tournament were the transitional president of the capital, Aden, Moamen Al-Saqqaf, Abdul Hamid Al-Saidi, advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the director of the Youth and Sports Office, Wijdan Al-Shazly, Shakib Aliwa, deputy director of the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank, CAC Bank, Abdul Jabbar. Salam, President of the Football Association in Aden, Khaled Al-Zamki, Head of the Youth and Sports Administration in the Aden Transitional Council, and a number of personalities.
