Manchester United completed the series of teams qualifying for the semi-finals of the FA Cup competition, by defeating its guest Liverpool (4-3) in a crazy scenario, after an extension for two additional periods, in the last quarter-final matches.
Scott McTominay started the goal fest in the 10th minute, and Liverpool responded with two goals from Alexis McAllister (44) and Mohamed Salah (45+2).
A few minutes before the end of the match, Anthony scored the equalizer for the Red Devils in the 87th minute, sending the two teams heading to two additional periods.
Harvey Elliott succeeded in putting Liverpool in the lead again when he scored a goal in the 105th minute, before United turned the tables in the second extra half and scored two goals through Marcus Rashford (112) and Amad Traoré (120+1).
With this, Manchester United eliminated the dream of Liverpool, which was aspiring to win four titles this season, especially since it is still competing for the Premier League and European League titles, after winning the League Cup.
