Real Madrid faces a final problem in its efforts to complete the contract deal with Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.
AS newspaper explained that Real Madrid intended to present Mbappe in a loud public concert at the Bernabéu, before the start of Euro 2024.
She added, “This plan is at risk of failure due to many considerations, including Paris’ commitment to its last league match against Metz on May 18, and a week later Real Madrid will play against Betis at the end of La Liga.”
She noted that in this case, Merengue gives priority to celebrating winning the La Liga title for the 36th time in its history, rather than presenting Mbappe to the fans.
The newspaper explained, “What also hinders the plan to present Mbappe is the holding of the Champions League final in early June, with the possibility of Paris or Real Madrid qualifying for the match that will be held at Wembley.”
AS stated, “But Real Madrid will be able to present Mbappe after the European final for two other reasons, the first of which is his attendance in the French camp in preparation for the Euro, and his official commitment to a contract with Paris until June 30.”
She concluded, “Mbappe’s presentation to Real Madrid fans will be postponed until after the end of the team’s tour in America, before the resumption of the new La Liga season on August 17 or 18.”
