A German press report confirmed today, Friday, that the Liverpool management is seeking to sign a replacement for the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the star of the Reds and the Egyptian national team.
The Reds are preparing for the period after coach Jurgen Klopp, who will leave the club at the end of the season, while reports indicate that Salah may also join him in the coming period.
The German newspaper "Bild" reported that Liverpool is preparing a plan to sign a replacement for Mohamed Salah, noting that his Egyptian teammate Omar Marmoush, the star of Eintracht Frankfurt, is at the top of the list.
She added: “The Reds will prepare a large sum of money to complete the deal, but it will not be easy given that it is not the only European giant interested in including him, and the value of the deal is expected to reach about 60 million euros.”
She pointed out that Marmoush’s name is strongly mentioned within Liverpool, but the club needs to decide what will happen with Salah in the coming period, especially since his name was mentioned among the departed in the past transfer periods after the name of the Saudi Al-Ittihad appeared, which made very huge offers to include him.
