Al-Hilal continued its historic series of victories by defeating Al-Khaleej (4-1), in the match that brought them together this Friday evening, in the 27th round of the Roshan Saudi Professional League.
Al-Hilal succeeded in achieving its 32nd consecutive victory in all tournaments this season, which is a world record.
Al-Zaeem scored for Al-Zaeem: Saleh Al-Shehri in the 7th minute, Malcolm (double) in the two minutes (42-48), and Abdullah Al-Hamdan 90+5 from a penalty kick, while Al-Khaleej’s only goal was scored by: the Egyptian Mohamed Sharif in the 9th minute.
p>With this result, Al-Hilal continued to lead the league table with 77 points, 12 points behind Al-Nasr, the runner-up, while Al-Khaleej came ninth with 34 points.
Al-Hilal took advantage of a disastrous mistake by Ibrahim Sehic, the Gulf goalkeeper, who sent a wrong pass in front of the goal, which reached Saleh Al-Shehri on the edge of the penalty area, and he easily put the ball into the net in the seventh minute.
Al-Khaleej quickly equalized in the ninth minute, through its player Mohamed Sharif with a header, after a cross from his teammate Fabio Martinez from the left side.
In the 35th minute, Al-Qaim prevented a second Hilal goal, after a shot from inside the penalty area by Malcolm.
Al Hilal increased its lead in the 42nd minute, through Malcolm, after receiving a magical pass from Savic, which put the Brazilian player facing the goal.
At the beginning of the second half, Al-Zaeem scored the third goal in the 48th minute, also by Malcolm, who received a wonderful cross from Saud Abdel Hamid, and shot it in a wonderful way into the net.
Al-Hilal player, Saleh Al-Shehri, strangely missed the opportunity to score the fourth goal, in the 65th minute, after receiving a pass from his colleague Abdullah Al-Hamdan, as the goalkeeper blocked his ball.
The match referee decided to award a penalty kick for Al Hilal, in the 90th minute + 3, as a result of the fall of Abdullah Al Hamdan, who successfully executed the strike, so the match ended with his team winning (4-1).
