The beach volleyball championship competitions in the categories (adults, youth, and juniors) concluded this Friday afternoon. The matches were held on Gold Moor Beach in Al-Tawahi District during the period between April 16-19, and were organized by the Game Branch Federation under the patronage of the Minister of State, Governor of Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, and the Minister Youth and Sports, Nayef Al-Bakri, under the supervision of the Youth and Sports Office in the capital, Aden.

The beach tournament, in which two teams (A) and (B) participated in all categories, from Al-Shu’ala, Al-Mina’, Ahly Aden, Wahdat Aden, Al-Tilal, Al-Rawda, and Shamsan clubs, witnessed the crowning of Al-Shu’ala (A) as champion for adults, and Al-Ahly Aden (A), while the team won Al-Minaa (B) Junior Championship.

The Shoala team was crowned with the title of the senior championship after it defeated the Al-Minaa team in the final match by two games to no score in a match in which the Shoala duo, Muhammad Al-Azani and Walid, excelled and were able to brilliantly overcome the opponent and win the championship cup.

In the youth category, the Al-Ahly Aden duo, Omar Salem and Ahmed Badr, defeated the Shamsan team’s duo, Ibrahim Al-Ahmadi and Ahmed Arafat, in the final match, with a score of two halves to none, so that the Al-Ahly Aden duo won the youth category cup.

The duo of Al-Minaa (B) team, Abdul Wahab Mushtaq and Hussein Al-Jarabi, won the junior championship, after the team defeated their colleagues in Al-Minaa (A) team, Amr Hawash and Ammar Selim, by a score of two halves to one.

At the conclusion of the tournament, the top finishers in the tournament categories were honored with cups and medals, and the tournament referees, working committees, sports medicine, and everyone who had a contributing role in the success of the tournament and its reaching the final stage were also honored.

The closing ceremony was attended by Farhan Al-Muntaser, Director General of Federations and Clubs at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Hussein Awad Al-Azani, President of the General Volleyball Federation, Sami Al-Huraibi, President of the Game Branch Federation, Mahfouz Saif, Deputy Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the capital, Aden, Nabil Muhammad Saif, Director of Sports Activity in the Office, and a number A large number of sports and social figures and volleyball fans.
