Alan Shearer, English football legend, commented on Sunday the verbal altercation that occurred between Egyptian star Mohamed Salah and German coach Jurgen Klopp.
Shearer said, according to the British newspaper "Mirror", that the situation likely escalated due to Salah's exclusion from the starting lineup.
The English football legend added: “We do not know what Klopp said to him, but it is certain that he said something that angered Mohamed Salah.”
He continued: “I personally understand Salah’s anger because of the number of times he saved Liverpool. He is the club’s star,” concluding: “Salah scored 17 goals in 25 league matches. It is a shame that it ended this way.”
