Al-Nasr succeeded in achieving victory over its counterpart, Al-Akhdood (3-2), during the match that brought them together today, Thursday, in the 31st round of the Roshan Saudi Professional League.

The goals for Al-Nasr were scored by Marcelo Brozovic (two goals) in the seventh minutes and 90+1, and by Cristiano Ronaldo in the 15th minute... while Hassan Al-Habib (60) and Savoir Goodwin (70) scored for Al-Akhdood.

With this result, Al-Hilal’s crowning of the Saudi League title was postponed for the 19th time in its history, as it needed Al-Nasr to draw or lose to Al-Ukhdood.

Al-Alamy occupies second place in the league standings with 77 points, 9 points behind leaders Al-Hilal, while Al-Ukhdood came in 15th place with 29 points.

Al-Nasr did not wait long until it scored the first goal early in the sixth minute, through Marcelo Brozovic with a shot from inside the penalty area after a pass from Ali Al-Hassan into the right of the goal.

Al-Nasr quickly strengthened the score with the second goal in the 15th minute, through Cristiano Ronaldo, after receiving a pass from Ali Al-Hassan from the right of the penalty area, which Don shot into the net.

Al-Akhdood tried to respond to Al-Nasr’s goals, with an opportunity in the 21st minute, after a shot on goal by Savoir Godwin from the edge of the penalty area.

Ronaldo, the captain of Al-Nasr, almost scored a second goal in the 35th minute after he shot a falling ball from a very difficult angle near the goal line, but it hit the crossbar.

Al-Nasr players called for a penalty kick in the 39th minute after Senegalese player Sadio Mane fell inside the penalty area, but the referee decided to continue playing.

Reducing the difference

The Al-Ukhdood team reduced the score with a goal against Al-Nasr in the 60th minute, through player Hassan Al-Habib, with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area that landed to the left of the goal.

Al-Akhdood equalized the score, with the second goal against Al-Nasr, in the 70th minute, through Savior Goodwin, who took advantage of a defensive confusion to shoot a rocket ball from inside the penalty area into the net.

Al-Nasr regained control of the course of the match by scoring the third goal in the 90th + 1st minute, through Marcelo Brozovic, after the Al-Okhood defender player took advantage of the ball’s clearance and Brozovic shot a strong ball on the fly from the right of the penalty area and into the net.
