Al-Ahly of Egypt maintained its African Champions League title for the second year in a row.
Al-Ahly hosted Esperance of Tunisia at Cairo International Stadium, this evening, Saturday, in the second leg of the African Champions League final.
Al-Ahly won the title in its favor, following its victory over Esperance with an unanswered goal in the second leg of the final.
Al-Ahly was able to win the title, as it succeeded in achieving a goalless draw in the first leg of the final.
Al-Ahly moved away from the top spot with the most titles in the competition, seven titles ahead of its closest rivals, the Egyptian duo Zamalek and Congolese Mazembe.
