The Yemeni youth national team continues its intensive preparations in the preparatory camp in the districts of Lawdar and Mudia in Abyan Governorate under the leadership of coach Muhammad Hassan Al-Baadani and his assistant Haitham Al-Asbahi.
This came in preparation for participation in the Fourth West Asian Youth Championship, which will be held in Saudi Arabia during the period from June 25 to July 4, 2024.
The internal preparatory camp entered its final stage under intense training with the aim of reaching the highest levels of technical and physical readiness required.
The technical staff of the Yemeni youth national team is working on applying the playing methodology during training sessions and urging players to implement tactical plans.
The team appears to be racing against time amid high morale, to benefit from the preparation stage and to absorb the instructions of the technical staff and translate them on the field.
The youth team is training at the Irfan Stadium in the city of Lauder and the Fahman Stadium in the city of Mudia, where the training includes warm-up exercises to increase the level of physical fitness of the players.
It is followed by tactical exercises and divisions between various combinations of players, in addition to rondo exercises that help speed up the playing rhythm and pass accuracy of the players.
The goalkeepers undergo special training by the goalkeeper coach, Mohamed Jaawan, with the aim of increasing readiness in preparation for the tournament.
The internal camp is scheduled to continue until the seventh of next June before departing to Saudi Arabia to participate in an external camp in the city of Dammam, which will include two friendlies against Al-Akhdar on June 15 and 18.
