Ittihad Al-Mansoura team reserved its place in the quarter-finals of the Khormaksar Martyrs League Championship for popular teams in its eighth edition, after winning on penalties against the Al-Arish Stars team after the match ended in a positive draw with two goals for each team in the match that was held this afternoon on The Doctors' Neighborhood Stadium is within the scope of the final round of the tournament organized by the youth of the directorate under the auspices of Mr. Arif Al-Shaabi, Director General of Aden Ports Development (Container Port).

The penalty shootout granted the deserved qualification card to the Al-Arish team, which secured its advancement to the quarter-finals to meet the martyr Jamal team, which defeated the Zamalek Bates team from Abyan Governorate in last night’s match.

The course of the match was not devoid of excitement and suspense in its details, and the process of parity in performance, level, and result remained close, and no winner was favored throughout the first and second halves of the match, so the penalty shootout came filled with happiness in favor of the Mansoura Union team, which decided its qualification for the next stage.

The goals of the match were scored for the Mansoura Union team by Abdul Rahman Al-Shubaili and an own goal, while the goals of the Al-Arish Stars team were scored by Ashraf and an own goal.

The star goalkeeper Ibrahim Maher won the award for best player in the match and received his award from captain Ahmed Al-Sahem.
