The Yemeni junior national team begins its second camp tomorrow

The Yemeni junior national team completed the first stage of the internal preparatory camp, which lasted ten days in the Lawdar district, Abyan Governorate, and included intensive exercises hosted by the Irfan Club Stadium in two morning and evening periods, with the aim of assessing the levels of the 39 players to choose the best among them.
The coach of the Yemeni youth team, Samer Fadl, confirmed that the internal camp in Lawdar is the first step in the stages of preparation for the upcoming elections.
He praised the efforts of the technical staff, assistant coach Ali Al-Nono, Captain Walid Al-Nazili, and goalkeeping coach Muhammad Derham, thanking them for their efforts and interaction in performing their tasks to the fullest.
Praised the interaction by the local authority and the sports fans in the Lawdar District and the good hosting and harnessing all the capabilities of the team’s delegation during the gathering period, thanking the management of the Irfan Club for overcoming the difficulties and providing the appropriate atmosphere.
Indicating that the success of the first phase of preparing the team achieved great success thanks to the interest and follow-up of the leadership of the Federation and thanks to the efforts made in preparing the camps and the interest in the team led by the President of the Federation Sheikh Ahmed Saleh Al-Issa, who is keen on the success of the camps as they are the actual beginning of moving forward towards achieving successful participation and raising the flag. In addition, the team’s delegation headed to the city of Aden on Friday morning to conduct MRI scans for the players to continue the preparation process.
The team delegation is scheduled to leave tomorrow evening, Saturday, for the city of Mukalla in Hadramaut Governorate to enter the second phase of preparation, which will last about 20 days before participating in the West Asian Championship in Jordan during the period (August 28 - September 10), 2024 AD. .
